Owner Adam Kachersky spent 12 years apprenticing under Dennis Kager — a legendary amp tech with over 50 years of experience and deep roots at Ampeg dating back to 1963. Adam was personally chosen by Dennis to carry that legacy forward, and Ampeg restoration remains a cornerstone specialty. During his apprenticeship, the shop served as Fender’s East Coast Regional Service Center and maintained service center status for Mesa, Marshall, Ampeg, Peavey, Roland, Korg, and more. Adam has worked on gear for Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Mark Knopfler, and Billy Joel’s band, among many others.
