Dragon Amplifiers is a Fort Worth amp repair and custom amp shop serving musicians, businesses, and churches across the DFW Metroplex. The shop was founded in 2017 by Lee Ryan, who had already been repairing amplifiers in the area since 2013. Lee studied electrical engineering at Tarrant Community College and Texas A&M-College Station and brings hands-on expertise to every guitar amplifier, bass amplifier, keyboard, mixer, and effects unit that comes through the door. Beyond standard electronics repair, Dragon Amplifiers designs and builds custom boutique amps from original circuit designs, so musicians looking for a one-of-a-kind instrument amplifier can work directly with an experienced amp tech to get exactly what they need. The shop keeps a deep inventory of hard-to-find and out-of-production electronic components, which is a real advantage for vintage amp repair and tube amp restoration jobs. All repairs come with a 90-day warranty, and custom amplifiers are backed by a 2-year warranty. Dragon Amplifiers is also an authorized service center for select brands.
