Welcome to String & Amp (stringandamp.com), a directory of guitar and amp repair shops. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What the site is
String & Amp helps you find guitar repair, amp repair and related shops and read guides about caring for your gear. We don’t perform repairs ourselves, and we aren’t a party to any agreement between you and a shop.
2. Accuracy of listings
Shop details, including addresses, phone numbers, hours, services and prices, come from public sources and from the shops themselves. This information can change at any time, and we can’t guarantee it is complete, current or correct. Please confirm details directly with the shop before visiting, shipping gear or paying for work.
3. No endorsement and no warranty on repair work
A listing on String & Amp is not an endorsement or recommendation of that shop. We don’t inspect, certify or supervise any shop, and we make no warranty about the quality, safety, cost or timing of any repair work. Any dispute about repair work is between you and the shop.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, such as finding a shop or reading our guides. You may not:
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools to scrape, crawl, bulk download or copy the directory, its listings or its compiled data. Normal indexing by public search engines is allowed.
- Reproduce, republish or redistribute the directory or a substantial part of it, whether as a database, a dataset or a competing service.
- Interfere with the site, try to get around our security measures, or put an unreasonable load on our servers.
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or to submit false, misleading or abusive content.
We may block, limit or rate-limit access by anyone who we believe is breaking these rules.
5. Our content
The site’s design, text, guides and the way the directory is selected, organized and presented belong to String & Amp and are protected by law. Shop names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. You may link to any page on the site and share individual pages for personal use.
6. Reviews and submissions
If you send us a review, correction or other content, you confirm that it is honest and that you have the right to share it, and you allow us to display, edit and use it on the site. We may remove any content at our discretion.
7. Third-party links and services
The site links to shop websites and uses third-party services such as Google Maps. We aren’t responsible for third-party sites or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
8. Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, String & Amp is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from reliance on any listing, or from any dealings with a shop listed on the site.

10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
