J Brown Guitars & Repairs is led by luthier and musician Jacob Brown, who brings extensive credentials to his Atlanta-area operation. A graduate of Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery (Luthier’s International) in 2005, Brown further honed his craft through a five-year apprenticeship under a Master Luthier until 2010. This formal training and hands-on experience translate into expert guitar repair services alongside custom/boutique guitar builds and vintage guitar work.

The shop services a comprehensive range of stringed instruments, including guitars, bass guitars, banjos, mandolins, violins, violas, cellos, upright bass, dulcimers, and harps. As a licensed and insured operation, J Brown Music and Repairs has established partnerships with several metro Atlanta pickup centers, including locations in Lawrenceville, Dacula, and Duluth, making it convenient for customers throughout the region to access professional luthier services.
