Yarbrough’s Music has been a Memphis institution since 1973, when it opened as Yarbrough’s Pickin’ Post — a 1,200 square foot guitar repair and lesson shop that grew into the city’s largest independently owned combo music store. Still family owned, their staff of musicians, engineers, and repair technicians covers retail instruments, pro AV design and installation, rentals, production, and electronic and instrument repair all under one roof.
