Kurt Jaeckle is a former Mayo Clinic physician who has turned his lifelong passion for lutherie into a full-time profession. With over 20 years of repair experience on acoustic and electric guitars ‚ including vintage and modern instruments ‚ he brings a physician’s precision and care to every job. Kurt trained in guitar building under renowned luthier Kent Everett and refined his soundboard voicing skills under master builder Ervin Somogyi, complemented by a strong foundation in woodworking and finishing. He is both a Martin & Co. and Taylor Guitars Certified Authorized Repair Technician, and brings the perspective of a guitarist with over 50 years of playing experience.
