Jeff Hoppe of South Sound Guitar Repair brings decades of experience with acoustic and electric fretted instruments to Lollar’s Tacoma location. A graduate of the renowned Guitar Program at Red Wing, Jeff honed his skills at Mike Lull’s Guitar Works in Bellevue before managing the repair department at Dusty Strings in Seattle. He has operated South Sound Guitar Repair independently for eight years and is widely regarded as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most in-demand repair technicians.
Operating by appointment out of Lollar’s Tacoma shop, Jeff offers full-service repair and modification including setups, pickup and electronics installation, nut and saddle replacement, instrument and pickguard routing, structural and crack repair, neck resets, and fret leveling, crowning, and refrets.
