Jake Tuel is the owner and proprietor of Burning River guitars. Based in Ohio all his life, he started playing guitar at the age 12 and then began modifying instruments. He started working at Lay’s Guitar in Akron, Ohio in 1992. There he cultivated his talent under the guidance of Dan Shinn and now runs his own shop.Some of the services offered include complete refinishing, restoration, refrets, neck resets, acoustic structural repairs, binding replacement, and expert touch ups to hide past repairs and match the age and patina of surrounding finish. Burning River services Gibson, Fender, Martin, Guild, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, and many other brands as well.
