Alpine Music Exchange opened in 2023 when Tyler and Erin purchased the established Rocky Mountain Music Exchange from retiring owner Bill Davis, who had served Evergreen’s music community for over a decade. Tyler brings a professional background in Music Production and Sound Engineering to the shop’s repair services, while Erin contributes over 10 years of experience as a public school music teacher. Together, they’ve built on the shop’s legacy while adding their own expertise to guitar repair and instrument maintenance.

The shop offers comprehensive guitar setup services, fretwork, and general instrument repair alongside their vinyl collection, rentals, and music lessons. Tyler’s technical knowledge in sound engineering translates directly to his work as a guitar tech, ensuring instruments are properly maintained and optimized for performance. The husband-and-wife team has earned strong community support since taking over, with customers praising their friendly approach and technical know-how.

Named after their five-year-old Siberian Husky, Alpine Music Exchange continues the tradition of quality luthier services that Bill Davis established while bringing fresh energy to Evergreen’s music scene.
