He later spent 24 years at Taylor Guitars, where most of his tenure was dedicated to the Repair Department before transitioning to Product Development alongside world-renowned luthiers.

Now operating by appointment in Sattler, David offers comprehensive guitar repair and restoration services, including expert vintage guitar work that draws on his extensive background with premium instruments. As a Taylor Guitars Certified Gold Level Warranty Technician, he handles everything from precision fretwork and guitar setups to complex restoration projects. The shop also provides instrument customization and modifications to meet players’ specific needs.

While custom builds aren’t offered as a standard service, David crafts custom boutique acoustic and electric guitars as time permits, bringing the same meticulous attention to detail honed over three decades in the industry.
