JD Guitar Setup and Repair brings over eight years of professional guitar and bass repair experience to Lancaster, New York. Owner Jeremy combines a lifetime immersed in music with hands-on technical expertise developed since 2016, when a poorly set up guitar sparked his passion for understanding how instruments work.

With 25+ years in the Buffalo music scene‚playing his first gig at age 14‚Jeremy understands firsthand how frustrating poorly performing gear can be for musicians. This guitar tech offers comprehensive services ranging from basic setups and truss rod adjustments to specialized fretwork including fret leveling, crowning, and replacement. The shop also handles nut repair and replacement, pickup swaps, bridge and tremolo adjustments, wiring issues, and Evertune adjustments.

Having performed at major venues throughout Western New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and even CBGB in New York City, Jeremy brings a working musician’s perspective to every repair. What started as helping friends and family has grown into a full-service operation dedicated to supporting Buffalo’s vibrant music community by getting instruments playing and sounding their best.
